I’m seeing a pattern

It has been a month since my last post. I just studied for an exam I have for tomorrow. I only have one class tomorrow and then I’m going to the shooting range with my room mates and riddling my air mattress full of bullets!!! I slept on that thing for 2 months. Just bought a new bed yesterday! Pillow top, queen size, mattress, box spring, and bed frame all for $100! I haven’t been this excited for a while! I slept so amazing last night. I might just go to bed early tonight! haha

Until next time, quite possibly next month, take care.

Oooh Geeze

My updates have been few and far between.

I’m not really apologizing, because I have been pretty busy. Honestly, right now I’m procrastinating on writing a paper and studying for an exam. I have my first exam of the new semester, tomorrow and my first ever college paper due in a couple weeks. I’m pretty nervous.

On a happy note… I want you all to know the new house is great!! Kyle and Jen are in the bedroom downstairs, Derek and I are upstairs, next to the man cave. Yes… a MAN CAVE! haha I don’t mind that they have a spot for them and to spend their time. I’d rather them have their posters and junk in one room instead of everywhere in the house. Rent and bills were paid for the first time all together yesterday. $346. Not too bad considering Comcast had a huge installation fee.

Anyway, I really need to get back to writing and studying.
I’ll try to get on here again soon, but no promises.

Christmas break

I haven’t updated recently, and for that I am sorry. I only know of two people that read this. I guess I have to keep them happy right? haha

I have been at my mom’s and various friends and relatives houses since break started. Michelle, one of my best friends, drove Derek and I up here. I owe her one. With gas prices the way they are, two hours to Morgantown and back takes a toll on the wallet.

I can’t say this break has been the best. I had a nice Christmas, don’t get me wrong, I just wish I would have visited with more people that are here.  Also, Derek left for Alabama this morning. I know I live with him and everything, but this is the farthest I have been from him. The last time we were away from each other he was in Morgantown and I was here. Now I’m here and he’s in Alabama. I understand that he’s visiting his mom, and I love her as much as I love my own mother, but I suppose I’m being selfish. I love him and I hate being so far away from him. I won’t get a New Year’s kiss this year. I think that’s one of the things that upsets me the most about the whole thing.

On a completely different note, Billy is doing great! He got a Kinect for XBox and has been boxing and playing games on it while he’s in his chair.  He is showing more improvement than we could have ever expected the day of his accident. He’s a fighter and I know he can get past this and walk again.

That’s all for now. I’ll try to update again soon.

The first snow that stuck to the ground in Morgantown, happened on the first of December. And it still hasn’t stopped. I’m already sick of the white shit! Pardon my French. I want summer back! I don’t do well in the cold.

On another note I want to “shout out” to Shannon! She is so far my only reader. That I know of anyway. If anyone else is actually reading this, comment! 🙂

Derek, Jen, Kyle, and I sign the lease to our house tomorrow! I’m so glad we found a nice one that’s not a scam. Unfortunately, utilities are not included. Split everything four ways. I believe we can handle it. The lease will start in January, so I’m going to try to make next semester cheaper by moving out of my dorm. Let’s hope they let me! Freshman are supposed to be in dorms, but I’m 19, I hope they’ll make an exception.

Until next time

I’m getting bad about not posting as often as I would like to. It’s been 10 days! In my defense, I was on Thanksgiving vacation. Visiting family and stuffing my face full of food! I hope everyone’s vacation from school went as amazing as mine did! Billy’s home and settled and the house looks great! I spent a lot of time with him. He’s doing better at home than what can be expected. His little girl promised to help clean the house and they set up a schedule of people going to the house to help him. He has a long journey ahead of him but he is strong and I have never known him to give up.

On another note. We got the house!! Whoo!! The lease starts at the beginning of January. I’ll still be in dorms then but that way, I can slowly move my stuff in. I’m excited to live with Derek, Kyle, and Jen. We’re so much alike it’s scary. I’m excited to start decorating and I hope the land lord will let us paint! I’m just glad that everything is starting to work out.

That’s it for tonight 🙂

Three amazing years!

Derek and I will celebrate our three year anniversary on Monday the 22nd! It feels like we have been together longer than that. I love him more than words could possibly express. He can look at me in the morning, stinky breath, hair a mess, and no make up on and tell me I’m beautiful. I found the person I believe I’m meant to spend the rest of my life with. He hasn’t purposed to me yet, but my mom promised me my grandmother’s engagement ring when he does. So she’ll know when he’s going to ask me. I’m not in any hurry to get married. I have enough problems and piling on arranging a wedding just wouldn’t go very well. Derek supports me in everything I do and he has never told me I can’t do something. Even though he probably should sometimes! 😛

We’re going home tomorrow to see our family. Thanksgiving break isn’t very long but at least it’s a break! Well… I suppose I should get back to laundry. We have to have clean clothes to pack.

It won’t be long!

I’m going home on Friday! I’m excited! I miss my family more than I ever thought I would or could.
My cousin Billy was in an accident and broke his neck. He went to physical therapy and he’ll be home for Thanksgiving! I think that’s what I’m excited about the most. He misses his little girls Kailey and Jaylin.

This is a short one tonight. Good night 🙂
